Rustproof stainless steel wire for securely wiring frame

The Bienenwagner® stainless steel frame wire is ideal for reliably wiring frame and stabilising foundation sheets. With a diameter of 0.5 mm, the wire offers a good combination of stability, flexibility and ease of handling.

The generous 500 g spool is suitable for both hobby beekeepers and larger apiaries, allowing a large number of frame to be wired.

Ideal for embedding foundation sheets

The stainless steel wire is threaded through the intended holes or eyelets in the frame and then tensioned. The beeswax foundation can then be placed onto the tensioned wire and embedded into the wire, for example using a suitable embedding transformer.

This provides additional stability for the beeswax foundation and ensures it remains securely held in the frame, even at higher temperatures or during extraction.

0.5 mm wire thickness – strong and easy to work with

With a 0.5 mm diameter, the wire is robust enough for reliable frame wiring while still being easy to thread through the holes in the frame.

The smooth stainless steel surface makes threading and tensioning easier.

Stainless steel – durable and corrosion-resistant

Compared to ordinary steel wire, stainless steel is particularly resistant to moisture and corrosion.

This makes the wire ideal for regular use in beekeeping and reduces the risk of rust spots in the frame.

Large 500 g storage spool

The spool contains 500 g of stainless steel wire and provides enough material for numerous frame.

Depending on the actual stainless steel alloy and manufacturing tolerance, this corresponds to approximately 320 metres of wire at a wire thickness of 0.5 mm.
