The Nuc & Mate hive is a versatile hive designed to simplify beekeeping and make it more profitable. This nuc hive can be used as an economic mating unit to expand your beekeeping or to sell nucs.

The Nuc&Mate hives can be divided into two three-comb units using a divider in order to mate two queens at the same time. The dividing shield can be removed later if the beekeeper wants to overwinter the colony as six honeycomb units.

The Nuc & Mate hive is cast from extra hard and food grade polystyrene with a density of over 100kg/m3. If used properly, the prey has a lifespan of several decades.

During transport, the loot is held together and secured by a strap. The lids can also be secured to the stand with a stone weighing around 2 kg. In warm weather conditions or during transport, the lid can be turned over so that a ventilation tunnel is formed over the frame top support, which guarantees additional ventilation when a bee-proof grille on the top support prevents the bees from flying out.
