Long stainless steel uncapping knife – 43 cm with plastic handle and two edges

With this long uncapping knife made of polished stainless steel, you can prepare your honeycombs for extraction. The 27.5 cm long blade allows long cutting strokes when removing the wax cappings. Two different edges – one smooth ground, the other serrated – give you the right working edge for your preferred cutting technique.

Smooth and serrated edge in one knife

The straight, smooth-ground edge is suitable for slicing off the wax cappings with an even cutting motion. The opposite serrated edge can be guided through the cappings with light sawing movements. This allows you to switch between both sides while uncapping.

Long blade for fast uncapping

With a blade length of 27.5 cm, you can work on larger areas of the comb surface in a single stroke. This supports a smooth workflow during the honey harvest. For deeper-set or unevenly drawn areas, an uncapping fork can also be used as a supplement.

Red plastic handle and polished stainless steel

The shaped plastic handle sits comfortably in the hand. The angled transition between handle and blade provides additional clearance from the comb surface. The polished stainless steel blade has a smooth surface from which honey and wax residues can be removed after use.
