For use in broodless bee colonies with suitable vaporization devices (available in the shop).
- Dosage: 2 g Varroxal per colony (measured using the enclosed measuring spoon)
- Application: Fill the powder into the evaporator's crucible and evaporate.

2. Drop application
For one-time use in broodless colonies in summer after honey harvest or in autumn/winter at outside temperatures above -15 °C.
Preparation of the drip solution:
- Mix 8 measuring spoons of Varroxal with 200 ml of lukewarm sugar syrup (1:1, 30–35 °C).
- Equivalent to a 4% (w/v) oxalic acid dihydrate solution.
- Close the container and shake vigorously until the powder is completely dissolved.
- Apply the solution when lukewarm.
Dosage:
- Drip using a syringe (e.g. 60 ml) or automatic syringe.
- Dosage: 0.25 ml per dm² of honeycomb surface per side.
- One trickle solution is sufficient to treat four colonies.
3. Spray treatment
For swarms, artificial swarms or artificially broodless colonies at temperatures above 8 °C.
- A second treatment after 2 weeks is only recommended in cases of severe residual infestation (> 6%).
Preparation of the spray solution:
- Mix 6 measuring spoons of Varroxal with 200 ml of lukewarm drinking water.
- Equivalent to a 3% (w/v) oxalic acid dihydrate solution.
- Shake the solution until it is clear.
Dosage:
